Trillium Construction is a renovation and construction company from Lindsay, Ontario.  Their old website was suffering from outdated design, and a total lack of search engine optimization, a must for a business showcase website.  We redesigned the whole website from scratch to incorporate lots of new functionality and make information much more accessible to the website’s audience.

The Design

To begin with we came up with a new structure with a much clearer information hierarchy that encouraged users to click through the site and learn about the company.

Next we gave the graphic design an overhaul, updating the look and feel to something more contemporary, whilst keeping the company’s colours and mood.  We added a slick portfolio section to showcase the companies projects. Also an easy to use resources blog, so the company can post useful information on topics like renovation and building.

The most important addition to this redesign was SEO (search engine optimization).  While the original site had no techniques in place to help search engine placement, this new design has all the necessary features to increase traffic.
